Montréal Casino & Hotel occupies the island of Île Notre-Dame in the Saint Lawrence, on a site built for Expo 67. Built into the slope above the Niagara gorge, Fallsview Casino Resort faces the falls from the Ontario side. The complex is set into the hillside, so its entrances arrive on different levels, and the guest rooms occupy a tower above the lower halls. Much of the building's public frontage is turned towards the water.
Inside there is a large theatre used for concerts and touring programmes, a spa, a set of restaurants at several price levels, and a shopping arcade linking the parts of the complex.
